The Project

In 2023, at The 6th Annual Freedom Whiskey Veteran's Day Event, Nathan Arndts the C.O.O. of Willow Creek Developers and Builders was inspired to figure out a way to grow the impact of the event to include a complete renovation of a bathroom for a Veteran in need that hasn't received the help they deserve from the VA.  During the 2024 event prep Nathan and Freedom's Owner Krista Hollingsworth came up with a plan to use the event to announce the giveaway and produced a panel to review the nominations.  Fast forward to Jan. of 2025, where we partnered with KORRECT Plumbing/Custom Marble Solutions and Cutting Edge flooring services to honor a Vietnam Vet, Mike V. with a renovation to transform his life after years of dealing with a 40-50 year old bathroom in his family home in the south Dayton Area.

After seeing the outpouring of support and the obvious need to help our Veterans KORRECT PLUMBING/Cultured Marble Solutions, Cutting Edge Flooring Services and Willow Creek Developers and Builders, in partnership with the Freedom Whiskey’s Veterans Day Event, are committed to keep this project going. Introducing our new project! The Rebuild and Honor Project. We aim to improve the lives of Veterans that need accessibility adjustments in their home so they can live a comfortable life suitable for someone that has given so much. More to come soon.
